JUVERDERM™

This is the newest Dermal Filler available.  It is a hyaluronic acid, which is a natural complex sugar found in all living cells, and one of the major components of the dermis connective tissue matrix.

Hyaluronic acid retains water like a sponge, absorbing more than 1000 times its weight, helping to increase its volume and density.

JUVERDERM™ is a smooth injectable gel that will improve wrinkles or folds.  Results are smooth and natural;  everyone will notice but no one will know. This product comes in two strengths:  ULTRA – for less intense areas and lips, and ULTRA PLUS – to correct deeper wrinkles and folds.

JUVERDERM™  has a high degree of cross linking –, with HYLACROSS TECHONOLOGY promoting duration of six months or longer.  There is less discomfort with this product and patients notice the natural look and feel it brings.

For optimal results we recommend the layering method.  One or two syringes are done per area and patients return a month later for another syringe. Results will last even longer!

After several months, the diminished lines and wrinkles will slowly begin to reappear which is the best time to touch up and layer additional  JUVERDERM™ .  Replenishing the JUVERDERM™  before it is all gone, will maintain a more youthful and vibrant appearance.
